On another note, it’s fine that you’ve removed the mention about the hourglass: that’s not working, because when you return it, the remaining sand may not be equal to 1mn for the next player’s turn.

Yes I had the same problem with the hourglass. That is why I found another solution.

well, I wasn’t sure it was a good idea to force captures only towards the ball carrier, but if you think it works, why not?
I played several games with my wife and it works pretty well in fact !
